Syracuse Head Coach Dino Babers has signed a “long-term” contract extension with Syracuse University, SU Athletics announced on Wednesday.

A press release didn’t specify the length of Babers’ extension, but it stated he’ll be coaching the Orange “well into the future.”

“I consider it a privilege today to be able to extend my time coaching at Syracuse University,” Babers said in the press release. “I am grateful to have the support, faith and trust of University leaders, the Orange community, our student-athletes and our fans. I am excited about what the future holds for Syracuse Football.”

No. 20 Syracuse (9-3, 7-2 Atlantic Coast) announced the extension following a 9-3 regular-season campaign and a bid in the Camping World Bowl in Babers’ third season at the helm. In his first two years, Babers went 4-8.

The Orange take on the Mountaineers on Dec. 28 in Orlando, Florida, at 5:15 p.m.
